Mary M: Artist Statement
When my son was struggling with addiction, I compiled a list of quotes to help him, but they helped me. I had them on my computer and wanted to share them here, in my collage. His one heartfelt joy in life was his family. “Family First” is what he had tattooed on his chest and this has become our motto as a family.
